Concierge Service Explained
Many people think they have it figured out, and are prepared in the event of a loss. It is usually not until the person has a loss of any magnitude that they learn the hard lessons. Having just a list of your valuables is not enough. You are required to have the receipts, usually 2-4 pictures of an item including pictures of you with items such as wedding rings, etc. Many people are totally unaware of these needs, and while it is still possible to file your claim, and sometimes even have them covered, there is an easier way to keep all of that in one place. Dok-It Online allows you to store all of this information in a safe and secure online portal where delivering these needs to your insurance agent are a simple push of a button.

Without Dok-It Online:
- Gather up all the pictures you have of your lost/damaged items
- Gather all of your receipts
- If a major disaster, such as tornado, you search through the whole neighborhood looking for your information amongst your neighbor’s stuff
- Meet with your insurance agent and turn this over
- Usually, go back and look for photos, receipts, etc. that you missed in the first round
- Agent submits the claim
- Agent calls you back for additional information and more descriptive information of said items
- Agent consults with law enforcement, and or agency handling disaster
- Agent finally gets a check cut and you sign off on the claim
- Within a week or two, you realize other items you forgot about
- You call agent and are informed you can file an additional claim for the other said items
- Repeat the process
- Oh and if it is all in a safe in your home locked up, you go find the safe, if this is a tornado
- You spend numerous hours wondering what you forgot
With Dok-It
- Prior to any event or tragedy, you inventory your items
- Log on from anywhere in the world using the Internet
- Select the items that are lost
- Click “Report Items Lost/Stolen”
- Information and all photos/receipts are sent in a pdf report to your insurance agent
- The same information is sent to the investigating officer
- Agent calls you to arrange your claim check pickup or date to be mailed
- You begin the recovery process and move forward

Video Inventories

- Even once the video can be played, agent needs software to capture screenshots of the items from the video
- Agent sits through the entire video trying to get some kind of photos off it for documentation (yes, they need it on their end too)
- Agent goes back and forth through the video looking for any items missed
- Agent reviews the list with you
- You remember several items you forgot to go back and put on the video
- Agent informs you of what he will need for those items not on the video
- You dig through all the debris in the neighborhood looking for that information
